The Healer Priestess is an Energetic Alchemist who channels and directs energy in daily practices and rituals, to benefit self and others. 
Becoming a Healer Priestess is a sacred calling that takes dedication and perseverance.  

Any authentic spiritual training path involves learning to sit with discomfort rather than running to the distraction of seeking transcendental experiences.  

Your Priestess Path Journey will challenge you to move to and through some discomfort as ego sabotage patterns will arise.

You will be held in a space of unconditional love through this magical year-long journey. 

Ego by nature resists spiritual growth and fights against it, and it generates powerful emotions and mental thought patterns in order to keep you from a spiritual awakening. 

Ego perceives spiritual growth as literal death, so although you won’t really be in any danger during your spiritual practices, the ego will often generate a lot of strong fear-based and anger-based emotions to derail your practice.

The exciting news is that ego only resists when you are close to a BIG spiritual breakthrough!  

You will be supported by your teacher and your fellow Priestesses through any and all ego resistance moments, so that you get to experience the major breakthroughs that await you on the other side of these challenges. 

Healer Priestess School is a queer-friendly space open to folks of all gender identifications. We are aware that the term “Priestess” is a gendered term in English, and it is the only word that has presented itself so far as conveying the intersection of healing science and magical ritual that you will be learning to facilitate here. Should you wish to take the training and receive your ordination utilizing a term that more accurately reflects who you are, that is a possibility and we can discover that word together during the course of the program.
We remain open to naming the program with a new gender-neutral term that does not appropriate the closed practices of any indigenous cultures and also accurately conveys the energy of what we will be doing here together.

Your teacher on this Path is Michelle Garber. Michelle is a Healer Priestess of Jaguar Medicine, a blessed Dharma Teacher in the Sakya tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, an initiate of the Medicine Buddha Sadhana, and a registered practitioner of Ayurvedic Medicine. Michelle’s healing work has been blessed in ritual by HH Sakya Trichen, who is the head of the Sakya Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, and she has studied Vedic Tantra with masters around the world for over 3 decades.

(And yes, we know…Michelle looks a lot younger than she is! The result of her Ayurvedic practices and joyful life.)
